Hospo

The business of providing food, drink, and accommodation for customers of restaurants, bars, etc., or guests at hotels; the hospitality industry. Also (and in earliest use) as a count noun: a person working or training in this industry; a restaurant, bar, hotel, or another hospitality business.

The classic varsity dropout—started working in hospo and stayed ever since.
